On my ride to work today, a thought occurred to me…”There is no other group of people like the cycling community.” This very tight knit group has very diverse backgrounds, views, opinions and ages but in the end…they all get along great together with their common passion…biking. Every weekend there are large numbers of these groups getting together and sharing their love of the outdoors and their hobby.
A group of 45 riders made their way up to Chattanooga, TN from Atlanta, GA over the weekend to enjoy some of the best single track in that area…Raccoon Mountain. This ride was held by the Roswell/Alpharetta chapter of SORBA, RAMBO, so we knew there was going to be some great riding with incredible food afterward.
The second annual Big Creek – Two Ways in a Day time trail was yesterday and they saw a great turn out. RAMBO, the Roswell Alpharetta Mountain Biking Organization (division of SORBA), puts on this event at the Big Creek mountain biking part in Roswell, GA.
