In my opinion Contador is not a rider with a lot of fans and doing this sure doesn't give him any more. If he would have waited and still won the TdF this year, I think he would have really gained attention and help out his reputation. If he wins now, I don't know how he can feel proud.Darryl

I really think Contador should have waited for Schleck. Watching the incident in replay a few times Contador clearly knew something happened to Andy's bike. There has not been one climb in the last few stages that these two have not looked back at each other every 3-5 seconds. Contador clearly knew something was not right with Andy's bike as he clearly blew by him and never once looked back for at least a minute if not longer. Weird!!!I beleive Contador knew something happended and thought at the very moment as he passed Andy that if he didnt look back for as long as possible he could pleade ignorance. I dont agree about the other riders in the group continuing on, but I do believe that they would of slowed down if Contador did. There's no secret that Contador has been frustrated by Andy's performance thus far and Contador knew he had to take advantage of this opportunity no matter what the perception may of have been. I beleive it was a slimy move by someone that has no morals in winning the right way.

Since Andy took yellow, stage after stage both Andy and Contador have had a visual lock on each other.
